About a year ago, my mother in law asked me if I wanted this camera. (She thought it would make a great toy for my little Zak) Little did she know that it was the first camera I used when I was a child. I must add that the she gave it to me in its original box !! (How cool is that !)
A long, long time ago...
I was at the Toronto Zoo and at last, I was allowed to take a photo. I could not have been more than 10 years old at the time. I got up the nerve to ask my dad to use the camera and took a picture of a camel. I was so proud of myself when I heard the loud click !! I did it, my first picture.
Since we lived in northern Ontario, my mom sent the film away to be processed.... the wait was long and I was so anxious to see my photo. The mail finally arrived and I was so disappointed with the result. The camel was a fuzzy brown mass of nothing.
My mom still has the image of the camel tucked away in a photo album somewhere. I’ll have to dig it up and post it someday.
