Monday morning at aprox. 3am, that is when it all started to unravel. I was so looking forward to a fun filled, action packed march break ! Alas, sharp neck and back pain put a serious and abrupt halt to everything. I spent Tuesday morning at the Clinique, waiting, waiting; waiting... sitting on those uncomfortable waiting room chairs while in serious pain is not fun. Next time, I’ll choose a doctor based on how comfy their seating is !
So, here is a look at my week in pictures... nothing over the top, just your average everyday life.
We celebrated grandma’s birthday as well as my daughter’s... Since Audrey wanted a chocolate fondue, I asked her what she wanted her candles in... Jos Louis !! (The cake, not the boxer !!) So here are a few fun Jos Louis pics.

Quiet crafts were pretty much all I could do with the kids this week... thankfully grandma was there to help. Yes, that’s my pretty coloring page !!

And, one of the deserts I made for my mom’s birthday. Let me share the recipe with you (since I’ve written it down on a small piece of paper and I’ll probably lose it)
Yummy Ingredients:
1 package 8 oz cream cheese (don’t skimp and get the light kind.. go full fat !)
1 can of Eagle Brand
1/3 cup lemon juice (the kind you buy in a bottle)
1 tea spoon vanilla
½ can of cherry pie filling
1 graham pie crust
Simple instructions:
Beat the cream cheese until it’s nice and smooth
Incorporate the Eagle Brand
Continue the mixing and add the vanilla and lemon juice. (The lemon juice is what makes it get nice and thick and scrumptious)
Guess what ? You are almost done !!
Pour the mixture into the pie crust, top with the pie filling and pop this baby into the refrigerator for a while ... Since you have half a can of pie filling left, you'll want to make two of these !!
Enjoy !!
