Summer 2009 Sessions - retrospective

I must admit how great it is to look back at my work, especially this session. Five stunning women from Montreal decided to celebrate graduation and their friend’s birthday, all in one. My colleague and I followed the fab five through old Quebec until just after sunset. It was like they were being followed by paparazzi. I’m sure they enjoyed the curious onlookers as they were being photographed. It really was a blast !

You know me, I’m hiding the other four partners in crime for another post..be on the lookout !!

Cirque du Soleil - Les Chemins Invisibles - Quebec 2009

Unfortunately if you haven’t seen the show this year, you will have to wait until 2010. Next year’s show will have at least 25 percent of its content renewed with new material.

The show was amazing and everywhere you looked there was something spectacular to see.

This series was taken on two separate occasions. I couldn’t possible get all the shots I wanted the first time. There were just too many people and the good spots were already taken. Therefore the second time I went, I pretty much knew where and what I wanted to concentrate on but even then it was difficult.

Here is just a glimpse of the performers who made this look absolutely effortless.

Summer 2009 Sessions - retrospective

I have to tell you, my summer was just great. Detoxing from technology a tad. It did some good. Yet, the summer was busy with photography (of course), family and some vacation.

I’ll be posting a retrospective of this summer’s sessions and personal photography for the coming months. So stay tuned, you’ll be seeing some great stuff !

Here is one of the beauties I photographed this summer. She loves the lens, and the lens just loves her right back ! I’ll be photographing her again this fall, I can’t wait !
